Blank Graduation Open House Cards

Another popular choice for graduation invitations is Open House Invitations. While you can order imprinted Open House Cards from an online printer such as GraduationParty.cceasy.com a more economical option is to order blank Open House Cards and fill in the details yourself. It’s a little more work but the cost savings may be worth it.

The purpose of Graduation Open House Cards is to invite friends and family to your Open House celebration. They’re a little more casual than Graduation Invitations because they don’t actually “annouce” the graduation but some people prefer a more casual approach.

You can use your home computer & printer to print the details on the cards but it will take some time, work and patience to make sure each card is lined up correctly before it’s fed through your printer. If you go this route make sure you have lots of extra blank cards to allow for any cards that don’t line up or print corrrectly.

Most people fill in blank Open House Cards by hand. It may take more time to do this but if you’re having a small celebration or if you can recruit some help to write the cards then it may be worth it. . . . → Read More: Blank Graduation Open House Cards

"You Print" Blank Graduation Invitations

An economical way to create graduation invitations is to design and print them yourself on your home computer. You can start with a blank sheet of paper or you can buy blank graduation-themed invitations. Your “design” can be anything you want and is only limited by your imagination.

If you use a blank sheet of paper your invitation can be any size up to 8.5 ” x 11″ which is the size of a normal sheet of paper and is usually the largest size your home printer will take. You can use regular paper or you can buy heavier or fancier stock like parchment paper at your local office supply store.

Blank graduation-themed invitations come in a variety of sizes including 8.5″ x 11″ letterhead, 5.5″ x 7.75″ flat card invitations, 5.5″ x 8.5″ 2-up invitations (you print 2 invitations per 8.5″ x 11″ sheet), and 3.875″ x 9.25″ slim invitations. Graduation-themed letterhead is usually a little heavier than regular printer paper. Other blank graduation-themed invitations are usually card stock quality.

You can also buy colored or graduation-themed envelopes to match the invitations you design yourself or the blank graduation-themed invitations. Envelopes come in a variety of sizes . . . → Read More: "You Print" Blank Graduation Invitations

Traditional graduation invitations are formal, personalized, imprinted invitations. However, many people opt for a more casual invitation. Both are available at local print stores, local card shops or online at a variety of websites. Two of our favorite websites for graduation invitations are Graduation Party’s Carlson Craft website (GraduationParty.cceasy.com) and Pear Tree GreetingsGraduationParty.cceasy.com has a wide variety of traditional graduation invitations while Pear Tree Greetings has lots of fun modern and casual invitations.

GraduationParty.cceasy.com also lets you order a sample before you place your entire order. So if you find an invitation you like or a few you can’t choose from you can request samples to see what the actual printed invitations will look like. Just make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to do this.
